Dave and Ernie have been friends and neighbors for nearly two decades, working together on fundraising events since 2006. Over the years, they have built a trusted partnership rooted in professionalism, teamwork, and a shared passion for helping nonprofits exceed their goals.

A retired Air Traffic Controller and proud Vietnam Veteran, Dave is no stranger to high-pressure situations or precision execution. He applies that same calm, steady leadership to the fundraising arena—helping organizations create smooth, successful auctions while avoiding common pitfalls. His instinct for what resonates with bidders, combined with his deep understanding of how a fundraiser flows, makes him an invaluable part of the Blacktie Benefit Auctions team.

Beyond his work in the auction world, Dave is also an accomplished glass-blowing artist. His handcrafted pieces—each one unique, vibrant, and meticulously created—have been featured in numerous shows and private collections. His artistry adds yet another layer of creativity and passion to everything he does.
